Sunny Deol recently garnered significant attention with his appearance in the movie “Gadar 2,” which achieved blockbuster success in India. This film serves as a sequel to his earlier work “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha,” which hit screens 22 years ago.

However, alongside this achievement, the actor found himself embroiled in a controversy as reports surfaced about his property in Juhu being scheduled for auction due to outstanding debts. The situation took a turn when the bank retracted the auction notice citing technical reasons. Now, Sunny Deol has come forward to share his perspective on the entire ordeal.

Sunny Deol’s Response to Juhu Property Auction Controversy: The star of “Gadar 2” has now addressed the tumult around his Juhu property, which was earmarked for auction owing to an unpaid loan of Rs 56 crore. In a conversation with NDTV, Sunny chose not to delve into the matter extensively, expressing, “I prefer not to comment. These are personal matters. If I say anything, it might be misconstrued.”

According to India TV, Sunny Deol has also appealed to refrain from jumping to conclusions on the matter. He emphasized, “We are actively working towards resolving this issue, and it will be resolved. We kindly request that no further speculation be indulged in.”

More Details on Sunny Deol’s Juhu Property Auction Notice:

Earlier, there were reports circulating about the potential sale of Sunny’s property, known as Sunny Villa, located in Mumbai’s upscale Juhu area. This step was prompted by unresolved financial obligations.

A loan amounting to 55,99,80,766.33 had been obtained by Sunny, with his father Dharmendra acting as a guarantor. The Bank of Baroda had dispatched a notice to the actor, outlining the possibility of a virtual auction of the property on September 25, 2023, if the outstanding sum was not settled. However, the bank later issued a correction notice, citing technical reasons for retracting the auction notice for Sunny Deol’s Juhu property.

Furthermore, rumors suggesting that Akshay Kumar, whose movie “OMG 2” coincided with the release of Sunny’s “Gadar 2,” had offered to assist in settling Sunny’s loan were debunked as unsubstantiated and untrue.
